Beach barbecue!
Woken up at 5.00am to a slightly dramatic scene on the slipway to the beach. The portable caravan / toilet was on fire. The caravan is part of an initiative to provide beach guards and facilities through the summer. It is also part of a bigger more contentious scheme for permanent play facilities – a scheme that local residents don’t want. The plot thickens!
