The exhibition will show John's drawings and prints at the new Arts School building in Bath during January and February 2020.  Curated by Professor Bernard Moxham, it is financially supported by Arts Council England, the School of Art at Bath Spa University, and by private benefactors.

The date of the preview in Bath is Thursday 16th January (17:00 - 19:00)

Exhibition tour

Museum in the Park, Stroud
26 May-24 June 2018

Opens Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm, weekends 11am-5pm, closed Mondays.

The exhibition will be accompanied by several text-based, knitting and dyeing workshops during weekends. A second space at the museum showing additional works, many for sale, will only be open on Fridays and weekends.

The exhibition in Stroud will coincide with an exhibition of John's panoramic drawings of Nailsworth and South Gloucestershire, as part of the Nailsworth Festival, at Ruskin Mill Gallery 19 May-17 June, open everyday 10am-4pm. Preview Saturday 19 May 2-4pm.

The complete exhibition will be shown in the gallery of their new building.

 

 

 

In addition to the Preview on Thursday 16th January 2020, a symposium in honour of John Furnival (and on the subject of Visual Poetry) will be help on Friday 21st February (14.30 - 18.30). The event will also feature live music inspired by Furnival's 'Satie's Faction',
