Lost for Words Exhibition

 

The exhibition will show John's drawings, prints and collages, and will particularly focus on his collaborations with textile artist Astrid Furnival. Curated by Professor Bernard Moxham and accompanied by a catalogue with an essay by Professor Stephen Bann, it is financially supported by Arts Council England, the Langtree Trust, Stroud's Museum in the Park and by private benefactors.

The date of the preview in Stroud is Saturday 26 May 2-5pm

Opens Tuesday-Friday 10am-5pm, weekends 11am-5pm, closed Mondays.

The exhibition will be accompanied by several text-based, knitting and dyeing workshops during weekends. A second space at the museum showing additional works, many for sale, will only be open on Fridays and weekends.

The exhibition in Stroud will coincide with an exhibition of John's panoramic drawings of Nailsworth and South Gloucestershire, as part of the Nailsworth Festival, at Ruskin Mill Gallery 19 May-17 June, open everyday 10am-4pm. Preview Saturday 19 May 2-4pm.
